Ordered an iced Americano light ice to be informed the "cup will be a little empty". To which I was perplexed and asked if additional water could be added to make up the volume of less frozen water. To then be told "sorry it's store policy", and as the least petty person in the world, I wrote a google review (this one!!). Shortly after this tragic incident, my good friend ordered himself a "Tall chai latte please" to then be given a tall latte (notice the chai is missing). I understand his Australian accent is thick however when he politely informed the staff of the Australian to kiwi translation error he was hit with a 50 CENT increase for the correct drink and insult to injury, another international transaction fee adding up to $1.50 spent for a silly mistake on THEIR behalf seems like we were the real losers.... Read moreI ordered a chai latte and was given a standard latte. I went up to the counter and they asked me to pay the 50 cent difference, leading to two different surcharges on my card, making it quite a bit more expensive than it should have been. Didn’t think that was quite fair as it wasn’t my mistake and I had to wait quite a while for the latte and the chai latte. My friend also ordered an iced americano lighter on the ice, to which the server replied with the cup won’t be as full. The argument of just filling it with cold water was made but it must not be ‘store policy’ to use 40 more ml of water to...
