TURKISH KEBABS & EATERY — Restaurant in North Island

We loved this place so much. We had just gotten back to Rotorua from a long day excursion. Most places had closed early bc of the market festival on Thursday. We had initially passed on eating here bc we thought it would be too heavy for a late meal but decided to give it a try since it was next to our hotel. The Turkish gentleman operating the shop was very kind and sweet. My boyfriend and I were excited to try the food, me specially bc I love Mediterranean food, and to my surprise while I am waiting for our wraps, the gentleman offered me a Turkish candy (I wish I knew the name) that resembled a gummy. It was very delicious! We then enjoyed our very generously sized and tasty falafel wraps! i must point out that I eat a lot of Mediterranean food and this is by far the best falafel patties I’ve had. I've been on a road with my two kids travelling around the North Island and decided to stay the night in Rotorua if the motel had laundry services I would have never discovered this cute little Turkish eatout next to the laundromat that I was encountered by some real cool Locals and tourist who were very helpful! before I decided to have dinner with my kids I read some of the reviews and I must say I'm a huge fan of Turkish food so it didn't bother me at all what people had said! What stood out for me was the price it's cheap and a place for me and kids to sit down and have a good Hot Chocolate that was served with good service the waitress was polite and kids enjoyed the sugar;) Service was great and the restaurant itself was perfect, we ordered Kebabs and Pasta and the food was delicious and one of the best meals we have had all week! I bought a chicken iskender kebab with rice yesterday I specially Google this place and saw the rating so I thought why not I should try as I drive from Auckland coz I was enjoying day off thought to do something new and enjoy my day and relax but when I took the food to my car I open it to eat the smell was so bad sticking and very smelly looks like he gave me the stale food what a waste of my money i was so hungry that I couldn't eat and was not able to eat anything later at all because of that bad smell I would never recommend anyone to go to this place atlist they should think why people come to their place and buy the food obviously they pay right no one is giving it for free..I was heading towards taupo otherwise I would bring the food and show them how can people do this so disgusting 🙂 really not...
