The Bond Street Deli — Restaurant in North Island

My daughter, a vegetarian, was traveling with her husband across New Zealand and was going to be celebrating a big birthday…I contacted Ian, out of the blue, to see if I could arrange for a meal for them along the way… Ian was extremely helpful and offered a menu for the occasion…he also had it shipped to the Airbnb that they were going to be staying at in Lake Tekapo…it was packed frozen, double wrapped, so it could be placed directly in their oven with all the utensils you would need together with a bottle of wine…it was a giant hit…they loved it and couldn’t even finish the two deserts he sent along…and, at what I considered an extremely reasonable price, which included the shipping…thank you so much for making this such a special celebration…כל...

I would show you a photo of the lovely plating but unfortunately all I have is the empty plate after I devoured their smoked salmon bagel. Something I really appreciated was how every part of the bagel had something "extra" - a little squeeze of lemon in the water, a bit of toasting, a bit of seasoning, etc. It shows incredible attention to detail. Considering how much a burger costs in the CBD these days, I would much rather go to this deli and enjoy one of their bagels & a cuppa for a much more affordable price. Thanks team :^) Amazing work!! I had my sons Bar Mitzvah in Wellington 2 weeks ago. We used Bond Street Deli for the catering. They went above and beyond with absolutely everything! The food was incredible. The presentation was amazing. They did our decorations also, which was unbelievable. I did not have to lift a finger. It was all organised for me in such a relaxed manner. Ian and Bev are most wonderful people to deal with. Ian was so helpful with everything on the day of the Bar Mitzvah. Thank you both for an incredible experience. I highly recommend Bond Street Deli and look forward to using them again...
