Chicken Union — Restaurant in Palmerston North

This is not your typical KFC or fried chicken/chicken tenders you get anywhere else. It's not greasy, it's delicious, tender, flavourful, and it's moist. So if you love flavourful boneless fried chicken, you gotta try em Korean chicken that you always see from K-variety shows and K-drama.. haha... And their chips, you can tell it's freshly fried from it's taste and crisp texture, and it isn't oily. Now, their service. I have yet to get serve by a snobby or unfriendly Korean as I've not yet experience it. Next is pricing. You'd think it's expensive (but then again nothing is cheap these days), as maybe you'd get more from a KFC store for the same price, but don't forget, again, this is no typical fried chicken. We recently tried Chicken Union for our Wednesday lunch takeaway. The food was delicious and seemed to be freshly prepared. Each portion was satisfyingly generous for the price, although we noticed that a significant portion consisted of chips or rice, depending on our choices. The self-service ordering kiosk was a bit confusing, especially regarding the bowl options which weren't clearly displayed. I love Korean chicken but 2start here because it’s not what I expected. Sad Soggy chicken different from Korean style Fried chicken to me. Moreover one of our takeaways missing .we have got home in Dannevirke then find out it was not in the bag. I spend 20mins to search the contact number to call the restaurant to say we have not received our union bowl ($14) so can’t see phone number provided online.
