Beijing Big Hotpot Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Palmerston North

It was a great place to go with friends and family given the fact that it's all you can eat, you don't have the pressure of what to order.

The variety of the food is quite limited but it was okay. Most impressive is the noodles they offered for the hotpot.

The sauces is where they can really go for an improvement.

The staff is friendly and they tried their best to meet the needs for their customers.

What a gem of a find. Four of us on a sports trip pretty hungry after a day competing stumbled across this and wow. The new experience being the hot pot option where you select the ingredients and then you cook the food, brilliant, tasty, yummy, and inexpensive too. The fixed menu is great as well, yup we tried two dishes off that as well. Future events in palmerston north will see us eating...

Nice food, even though they use MSG (not a problem to me because it's normal in Asian cuisines). However, it's somewhat overpriced for the quality and atmosphere. The kitchen is open to the dining area. Also, there's some sticky feeling on the chairs and tables, which can feel nasty to some people. It would be better if they could rearrange or rework their dining area for a better...
