First time I've had bad smørrebrød The staff was very nice and it was a cute place but as someone who has had Smørrebrød countless times in Denmark, this was a big disappointment. The remoulade was completely missing the typical savory and creamy taste and instead tasted like nothing. It was the exact same story with the meatballs. Danish meatballs usually explode in your mouth with aroma. These ones were tasteless. Further, 22$ for a tiny meal that won't satisfy nor fill you is, in my opinion, too expensive. If you're looking for authentic Smørrebrød, don't make my mistake

Their menu is delicious & distinctive. Such a joyous alternative from the traditional Cafe offerings. I loved all I tried and I got a great sample - from creamy hot chocolate, to haggis, stewed apples and meatballs. I got to try the sweet & the savoury and they were scrumptious. Rich, subtle, unique and utterly satisfying. The mix of textures and deceptively complex flavours across the meal and drink make it for a great experience too. Wonderful staff, great music, warm and chill. What a great find!

Have visited ADJØ many times over several years and definitely think it is a good cafe! Has a good range of food options including a main menu, porridge menu and cabinet food. I love the porridge and the carrot cake with yogurt!! Personally I’m not a fan of the main menu. The drinks are yum too - especially the anisetta. The seating is not very comfortable, particularly for taller people. The staff are easy going and attentive. Definitely recommend a visit, especially to try the carrot cake!!

Ata Marie, I think it will be a really nice place as soon as the works are done and you can have a relaxed stay on the front of the building. This cuisine is supposed to be between Danish and NZ foods, which I think could be improved by cutting the amount of sugar everywhere. That is really where NZ is bad about is the lack of other flavours than sugary, except from the plain porridge every nuts, fruits,... are topped with sugar, even the yogurt. Keto is definitely not a thing there, but even having a brekkie full of sugar is proven to not be healthy, so please make thinks less sugary! Let people choose to add...

I really love this cafe, it is beautifully decorated, amazing atmosphere and great service. The coffee is really good, I like the aniseed coffee, and it's reasonably priced. Perfect for study or catching up with friends. The range of food is unique and interesting. The only gripe I have is the lack of vegan and vegetarian options, when I visited last with my mum and a friend there was only 1 vegan option, and as she is dairy free and my friend and I are vegan we all had to get the same dish, it was good, but it was...
