McDonald's Oamaru — Restaurant in South Island

I nonchalantly walk into the McDonalds longing for a nice,cold,refreshing,black Coca Cola. As I walk in I get overwhelmed by the majority of people in there, I then order my large coke which costed me a rough $5.60. Then I backflip my way to the side to wait for my order. I wait around 6-7 minutes for my damn Coke, I then walk politely to a table to enjoy my drink. As I sip on my thirst quenching large Coke, I couldn’t help but look at a father caring his wittle daughter in a rushful matter. As they passed the register the wittle child proceeds to puke, which I could only assume is her $10 happy meal that she downed a few minutes earlier. I watch as the child pukes TWO times still not making it to the bathroom.I instantly look away as if I made eye contact with the huzz, I proceed to chuckle subtly and walk outside to another seating area to avoid any sort of smell or noise that would make me lose my appetite for my $5.60 cold Coca Cola.When I finish my Coke I then skedadle over to the exit. One thing most would expect from McDonald's is consistency. This is not happening at McDonald's Oamaru. My husband and I have had several disappointing experiences here and have stayed away for months. Today, however, we decided to give them another try. Needless to say, we were once more disappointed. They are no longer providing hand sanitiser. This is a serious fail, especially considering NZ is now in the grip of our fifth COVID outbreak with a variant that is more contagious and with more serious symptoms than previous ones. The ice cream machine wasn't working, the chips were almost cold and the coffee was so bitter, it tasted like it had been stewing for days. I know my opinion will have little effect on their overall turnover, but we're not returning. I can't be bothered complaining because I've done this before. Their response was such a convoluted rigmarole as to how to obtain a credit voucher, we didn't bother trying to redeem it....

Such a terrible experience with the lady who served me at the couner. We just asked for extra salt for the chips but she didnt even answer or nod her head. At the time, i was thinking she couldnt hear what i said but she gave me some salt without any words or eye contact. She was looking somewhere at the time and looked unhappy to serve it to us. Never ever seen such a unprofessional mcdonalds crew before in my entire life. We couldnt enjoy meal much because of her being there. We wanna visit again but i dont want to be served by her. She should know its not her own business. I know the owner there but they werent there. She should feel ashamed to work like that behind owners back. We went there around 11:40am on 13th of August. Everything was PERFECT except HER!!!!!!!! Might be tiny thing what ive written, but owners better know that people(Customers) feel this way, at least the 2 of us. Just...
