Mr Noodles面先生 — Restaurant in South Island

I have been here three times. I ordered the braised beef noodles on all visits, the noodles itself was great, with a mix of thin and thick strands (it's hand pulled, even though in other places, I had noodles with more even and finer strands). The soup though, was not consistent: first time was meh, but okay; second time tasted really great; and third time was better than the first, but not as good as the second time. I've tried sliced beef noodles as well, and the soup was more consistent. It was tasty as well, but less flavourful than the braised...

Big day at work. Wasn't up for cooking so I ordered fried chicken noodles from MrNoodles Dunedin on Uber. One of the most disappointing meals I have ever had. As you can see in the photo of the dish description it clearly says "Loaded with Chicken and Vegetables " $23.99 for the dish which had onion, 4-5 pieces of carrot, 2 small pieces of broccoli and 5-6 tiny pieces of chicken slithers-not even 50grams. Superb and authentic regional Chinese noodles. The noodles are freshly hand pulled, and the texture is fabulous. We came here twice over a span of a few days. Lovely and friendly proprietor too, who efficiently takes orders, prepares the noodles, and serves. The great thing about the noodles is that they come mild and you can spruce up your dish to your liking with the condiments at the table: chili oil, Chinese black vinegar or light soy sauce. Portions are super generous....
