Perky's - Floating Bar Queenstown — Restaurant in South Island

THE best place we ever stumbled upon accidentally. We were traveling to Queenstown in the month of May (it was about 3 degrees Celsius outside) and Perky’s proved to be the warmest, vibiest place of the lot. Lovely people, the BEST mulled wine I’ve ever tried and the music playlist was chef’s kiss. They also had a great selection of craft beers and cocktails, and of course lake views. My partner and I loved the option of bringing food from other places here and eating while enjoying their delicious drinks. We ended up coming here two nights in a row and if we were in QT longer, we would’ve gone again without a doubt. Do visit them and add a great place to your own list...

This bar is an absolute gem in Queenstown, especially if you're looking for the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, making it ideal for both unwinding and enjoying the breathtaking views.

What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional service. Noémie, in particular, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Her warm personality and professionalism elevated the entire experience.

Amazing place to relax and feel the Queenstown vibe. The floating boat bar is perfectly positioned on the lake front where the other restaurants are. I love the idea of BYO food and drink. very relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Its the highlight of our Queenstown holiday while listening to the bar music and also the saxophone live play on the lake front. The downstairs seating area is cozy and warm so you can move there if it gets cold and windy at night. Nice and clean toilet provided.. friendly staff. reasonable price for drinks and burger deal if you wish to order from the bar...
