Dragon’s Den Hotpot — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I’ve been to many hotpot places around in Auckland but honestly, this one’s the best out of all🤧. The serving sizes are pretty big and all of the food are really fresh. I came here a couple of times and their service never drops a single bit. Their special soup broth is delicious 🥺💗 for both drinking straight a way and cooking the food, defiantly recommended. The read-to-eat dishes, especially the desserts are lovely too: after a nice hotpot, finishing with a sweet Chinese Jelly w/ brown sugar is literally one of the best experiences in the world🥰🥰

In conclusion, this place is amazing, I’ll defiantly come here for lunch and dinner more. 100%...

This place is top notch If you enjoy hot pot, here they have done everything to a high standard... It's not buffet so can't have unlimited food like some hot pot restaurants, but I do not begrudge that, they are priced well and provide excellent portion sizes. They use mains gas rather than bringing out cheap camping gas cookers and running out of gas, as many restaurants do. And the fitout is second to none, a visual feast of Chinese design and history. We need a hot pot restaurant like this in Wellington, only a couple left and they don't have any of the class of this place. We will definitely be going again,...

Food quality is slightly better than average. We ordered the basic meats and vegetables, along with chicken soup and spicy broth. Price came up quite expensive as compared to other hotpot places for the same amount of food. Sitting on the second floor also meant that you have to bear with the smells coming directly from the first floor. I would say it was an okay experience, but knowing there is a cheaper option out there for a similar experience, will likely not...
