With such an amazing menu of authentic Chinese cuisine, it is no wonder that Lotus Garden is one of the more popular Chinese restaurants in Albany. You get generous servings off very tasty dishes. I recommend getting a selection of dishes to share, including something you have never thought of eating before. Wine is not part of mainstream Chinese culture, so don't expect a wine menu when you go to genuine Chinese establishments like this one. However, you can get Chinese beer, but if you are not Chinese, expect to be disappointed by the beer. Chinese tea is provided complimentary and is naturally the best match. It’s horrible and definitely won’t come back again. We ordered two dishes. Mapo toufu is ok which is hard to make mistakes and Gongbao diced chicken which is horrible. The chicken was not properly cooked and tasted not fresh at all. I asked the owner whether I can change another dish, but she asked is that really because the chicken is not cooked or I just don’t like the taste. I have recently decided to try this place out! They have so many varieties of main foods and their portions are huge!

Price wise- it seemed a little expensive for an asian food but after you see the size of the portion and taste their dishes, you will find yourself accepting the price😉
