Eating at this place was life-changing. I, a lone sigma male used to carry a darkness in my bottomless heart. The waiter, whose name was Franklin if I remember correctly, was just an incredible specimen. He was such a gentleman by opening the door for me at the front without even me noticing. His tender heart must've felt my smelly loser presence outside. For a moment, I felt like a shoujo anime princess meeting her lover for the first time. Rizz: Immaculate. After my little episode, he gently guided me through the place and gave me recommendations. I chose my ingredients and handed it over to the counter to where I see my prince charming again. He got my bowl and gave me a little cheeky wink before he went to the back and readied the food. The food was nothing like anything else. The protein from the meat and eggs developed my muscles to the point where I break everything I touch. My spine and legs grew so much I went from 5'6 to 6'10. I developed hunter eyes with a positive canthal tilt, the perfect gonial angle and grew thicker eye brows and lashes. Passed the medical exam without even being enrolled to med school due the my IQ increase from the food. I was working as a janitor and a few days later I'm now the CEO. Thank you Mad Pot! And thank...
Read moreIt's been a while since I last commented on this popular hot pot restaurant. I became a fan of Mala Tang (hot pot) and Mala Xiang Guo (dry hot pot) thanks to my partner. You can customize your choices and quantities, deciding whether to have it with soup or not. Personally, I prefer Mala Xiang Guo for its richer mala spiciness and the full flavour of all the added ingredients. However, I also enjoy hot pot with soup.
As you can see in the attached picture, my partner and I always order one of each because we both love mala a lot but have different spice preferences - that's the main reason. We also order a serving of rice to share, increasing the overall portion size, also going very well with this spicy food.
I visit this restaurant once a month as part of my regular routine, I love it. Their mala hot pots are highly recommended for those seeking Chinese hot and spicy...

The waitor didnt give me the rice i ordered. I had to remind him (which is fine). The drypot was really really salty. I have had drypot more than at leaat 15times in this restaurant. I can tell the difference. 1.5l of water didnt help.
The kitchen seems very busy talking. After waiting for the hotpot that didnt come for 15mins and i checked with the counter. He said it'd be ready in 2mins. This is where things gotten really bad. Curliflowers were easily crumbled (a sign of overcook) udon were way overcooked. I realised they forgot my order. I am not coming back here anymore. Worst malatang i ever had...
