Smart Kitchen — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The tables were in dire need of cleaning; I found grime on the surfaces, which was quite off-putting. The lady boss seemed more interested in her cell phone than in serving the customers, which added to the overall lack of attentiveness from the staff.

Basic necessities like napkins were not provided until I specifically asked for them. As for the food, it was average at best—nothing particularly special or memorable. The speed of service was acceptable, and the pricing was reasonable, but these factors were overshadowed by the cleanliness and service issues.

With such a incredible price point, this establishment checks all of the boxes for dishing out some amazing food at this price point.

Amazing mix and portions of meat, vegetables and rice which is punching way above its value. I personally think it's almost impossible to have so much value compared to a home cooked meal.

While I haven't been to many $9.90 establishments, I can say that so far, Smart Kitchen has the most in depth and complex flavours.

Overall, highly recommend cheap eats lunch box in Albany. Great value and great flavours to make a dent in the saturated...

The food is good, while the service of the waitress is stunningly disgusting. I just don't understand where is this arrogance coming from. I assume this is just some emptiness like at her age that cannot avoid? My sympathy goes to the chef whom i had a very good talk with, sorry that you got stuck with her and suffer this unbearable...
