I went for their $30 buffet and I'm a bit divided.
There was a lot of food options. The restaurant is much bigger than what it looks from the outside and I was pleasantly surprised by the big selection of food on their buffet.
Although there was a lot of food choices, none of it was a stand out that I wanted to go back to it again and again. All the food was perfectly adequate, but not incredibly memorable.
I was a bit disappointed by their chicken, which is supposed to be their speciality, given their name. The soy chicken was better, but quite sweet.
I liked their coleslaw, kimchi, pickled veg, and sushi. It was fresh and tasty.
There was a white soup which I couldn't identify, but was nice.
The chef keeps bringing and filling the food, ensuring everything is fresh.
There are four ice cream options for dessert.
Will I recommend it? Yes. For $30 you're getting a lot of options and will definitely find something to like.
Will I go again? Yes. But maybe not soon.
I was very upset by another family who wasted so much food. The food they left behind was double than what I ate. It's just disgusting! People should be charged extra...
Read moreLet's start my setting the scene... two high school girls hungry and ravenous hear about a place called kchicken that sells their favourite Korean hot dogs. So alas they make their merry way over to glen mall on a Tuesday after school. It was a treacherous journey would it be worth it??? The girls order hot dogs and crispy chicken mmmmm. They choose a table in the vast expanse of k chicken and shit down patiently. Nerves rising and heart rate spiking. The kind worker comes over and greets them. The chicken and hot dogs come. Taking bites in sync the hot mozerlla in its crummed blanket hits their lips. Tasty but could be better. Devoured. Next the anticipated chicken... the reviews weren't good. They dig in with their forks and to their dismay find a chicken as pink as salmon. Trying to scavenge for safe pieces they come across other colours... black, brown PURPLE? No white. Sadly the girls do not eat the chicken as they have exams tomorrow and don't want diarreha. Would not recommend this place unless u want some time...
Read moreK chicken Glen Eden is a strong place to visit for a decent meal. One of the best things about this spot is that it’s located out west, which is not common for most Korean chicken/buffet places. The price was quite affordable for the all-you-can-eat buffet. There was a good range of food options—enough variety to find something you enjoyed, but not so much that it was overwhelming. I particularly enjoyed their seafood udon/pasta and the bulgogi (beef). Another highlight was the Korean side dishes, like kimchi and mixed vegetables, which helped balance the meal. The chicken was also great—crispy with a nice crunch. The soy flavour was quite strong (slightly salty and sweet), but the original fried chicken was fantastic!
The buffet stations were clean and regularly refilled. It was definitely worth a visit if you or anyone you knew had a...
