Thip Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Waitākere Ranges

Got a takeaway meal for my wife and I recently from Thip Thai.Not got a takeaway from them for a while. Usually very good food. However, it was disappointing this time. We wanted mild to medium but we got what I'm sure was at least medium. Spoiled our enjoyment of our meal, burnt our mouth and tougue. My wife got a Satay Gai appetizer, which was okay but the peanut sauce supplied with it was minimal.Only one small plastic pot of sauce provided, should have been at least two. But why not just apply the sauce...

Just ordered mild pad thai and mild pad see ew. Pad see ew is meant to have thick noodles but what we received was thin pad thai style noodles and God knows what that dish was. Plus both dishes super hot. Obviously wrong order provided to us. Rang and asked if pad see ew is thick noodles - they say yes. But then get another person saying oh we use thin noodles. Really?? No sorry or attempt to rectify order. Customer service 0. Issue could have easily...

Nice little restaurant, friendly service and also looks clean. But 18$ for a Tom Yum Soup with chicken and Rice? Seriously? For a normal size soup, never that much like in Asia? The soup wasn't even a real Thai one: Not spicy, a whole chicken breast which is way too much and nearly no vegetables except from some mushrooms.

I also thing all the other food is more western Asian. In conclusion I can't recommend this restaurant, even when it's looks...
