This restaurant deserves a resounding "avoid at all costs!" The food was atrocious. The fish burger was a culinary catastrophe; a sad, grey puck of a patty that tasted like it had spent its life frozen in a warehouse before being unceremoniously slapped onto a bun. The texture was simultaneously dry, rubbery, and strangely soggy – like eating cardboard that had been briefly microwaved. The "cheese" was a pathetic imitation, bearing as much resemblance to actual cheese as a plastic bag does to a swan. It was a crime against seafood and good taste. To add insult to injury, the toilet was disgusting – someone had vomited in the bowl! Read moreThis place is family owned and very well run. The owners are friendly and accomodating. Their mediterranean food is really very good and all homemade. They have a nice selection of wine or spirits. Beer too. We have been there during the day with friends (we are in our 50's) and we have been there late at night a few times after a play or concert in the area. It is more lively at night, but it's a fun vibe. They have sishas available for smoking flavoured tobacco. We did not indulge, but it was interesting to see them in use and there was no obnoxious smell coming from the water pipes. The prices are very reasonable as well.
