My partner and I recently had our Wedding Ceremony & Reception here and purchased the 'Seated Buffet Wedding' Package. Below is a list of pros we loved about the venue:
Offers a HUGE space that allows for 100+ people and many seating options and activity areas. Blank canvas venue that allows you to decorate the entire room the way you want. Elegant interior that is great for weddings. Stunning indoor lighting. Stunning view of the Auckland Harbour, especially at night! A customisable buffet menu with delicious food. Many of our guests commented positively about this, and it was considered the highlight of the event. All of the on-site staff were extremely helpful on the day and always willing to lend a hand. Very flexible on how drinks could be charged.
Here are some things that I would like to mention that the venue could improve on: The cost of including a sound technician to check our sound gear was too high- but this was rectified. Attention to detail: During the pre-planning phase, the venue made mistakes in our custom buffet menu and the name of the hotel we were staying at. Communication: We were not told that we were 2x food selection items short on our custom buffet menu. The package initially mentioned that we would be offered 9x buffet selection items, but the venue reduced it to 7, and then after we followed up, they changed it to 8. Though it stated 9x buffet selection items were on offer on their wedding package PDF file, it was not clear how many items we could have if it was a 'Custom' buffet menu in the beginning. Stating this clearly in the beginning, in writing on your proposal/wedding package document, would have saved us time and stress.
Overall, despite some bumps during the pre-planning phase, my partner and I were impressed with how the event was executed on the day. We appreciate Melanie and Lea's friendliness on the day of the event, their flexibility in meeting our demands and answering our questions, and how well they interacted with our guests. The atmosphere of the event during the night was spectacular and left everyone in awe.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Ben, Allan and Melanie and the team. The food is top notch and these guys will always find a way to ensure that everything is seamless and exceeds expectation. My event with them on the 29th of March has been successful because I had them work with me from beginning to end. Melanie is very organised, prompt and hands on. Lea's outstanding management ensured that everything ran seamlessly, from the initial planning stages to the final moments of our celebration.
