Been here a few times previously and been happy with service. However went today for dinner with my family and no menus only a QR code to scan in the napkin box but our table didn't have one so had to scan the next empty tables QR code and everything on the menu said it was sold out. I had to ask the FOH if they really were sold out of everything as there was only 2 other diners in the restaurant. FOH said they had a technical issue and he went on the computer and said it was fixed. We tried again but still wasn't working. I asked if he could just write our order down and he said no and did it on their own tablet. We ordered our food through him. Food was okay. Although my dad seemed to have been waiting for his for quite a while. The FOH came round to ask how everything was and if we were waiting on anything else and we said the pizza and I could hear the chefs say that they never received the order. So my dad had to wait for his meal while the rest of us were finished with ours. So he was quite disappointed. We got it discounted off when we paid as we said it took so long and the FOH said it only takes 20 mins to cook and my mum had to say well yeah but only when they remember to cook it so it took much longer than that. Staff seemed not so bothered as it was quiet so didn't feel like the service was at the standard it usually is there. And I wouldn't have minded had it been busy but it wasn't which I think contributed to staff not being as attentive. Me and my mum also used the ladies room and one of the doors of the toilets was missing. And the toilet I went into it's toilet was stained in a black ash looking colour in the bowl the floor also was quite dirty in the toilet cuticle. All in all wasn't impressed with the service at all this time, food was okay, difficulty in ordering due to the technical problem with their QR system and toilets weren't very clean or presentable. Well iv never been more disappointed,In any place than this one . we ordered the our burger and The Aotea burger plus fries chicken tenders and A thick shake each . The best part of our meal was the thick shake . My daughters Beef pattie was border line raw and as she is pregnant she spoke to the waitress who proceeded to speak to the chef about cooking it longer , we could see all of this as my daughter was facing the kitchen, The chef sent the waitress back out and said we were wrong and it was red because of the beetroot and raised his eyes and laughed. I argued the toss and said he was wrong as mine was the same so she went back to him and he agreed to make a new one Apart from that my burger was nothing but a sloppy mess it couldnt be eaten without a fork and knife . We spent roughly a little under $50 each and ended up throwing the burger away outside in the bin . The chicken tenders were over cooked , The chicken salted fries were saturated with this awlful sauce ineatable . Your chef in the pricess wharf shop is totally rude and should not be working on the front line of a kitchen if this is how he treats people . There was little to zero customer service here . An empty restaurant save one table on arrival, we were directed to hard plastic chairs and provided a tablet to order our own meals, which could not be paid by tap and required full CC details including CVC, despite 4 staff in attendance. Burger price does not include fries, advised drinks also needed to be ordered via tablet. Despite numerous attempts to attract the attention of the 4 staff on site, we were still without our paid for drinks 30 minutes after ordering! A staff member approached with beverages, however these were for the third table that arrived considerably after us. 10 minutes later (yes, 40 minutes after arrival and ordering) we had our fries but still no drinks. Our meals were put up... and we watched the chef and staff at counter look at the order with no attempt to deliver. As the minutes ticked by, no attempt by either to deliver and I was forced to investigate if the other two staff were held up by a mysterious 20 tables that may have walked in... alas! An empty restaurant, 2 staff loitering over an empty counter and at this point all pretence was lost and we demanded a refund... which the "manager" on duty had to "call a friend" for instructions on refund process.
