McDonald's Quay Street — Restaurant in Waitematā

So until tonight, I had never been so humiliated by Maccas crew members as I have tonight and even worse at the McDonalds I use out of convenience at least twice a week, most times three. After having to drive back to MCD's to return a Chicken Chorizo Burger or should I say "Chorizo Burger", because there was no chicken in sight, after walking in to the restaurant to tell them what happened, she had the audacity to ask me, "Are you sure, the chicken wasn't in there? because we're going to check the cameras. Who does that? why the hell would I take out the chicken from my burger and drive back there? It wasn't just the front staff either, one of the cooks came out after finding paper from a straw in the box, looking me up and down and says, holding the paper"these only come from the front sir?" I was unaware of the straw paper so naturally it took me by surprise but it could have fallen in there after me checking the burger in my car, the only reason I did check it is because it was new and I wanted to see what was in it. This happened in a full restaurant, and two other patrons could see and hear how rudely this was being handled as they both heckled at staff whom it seemed the comments just went over there heads, all the while the rest of my drive thru order was cold in my car, frustrated by this and now almost half an hour after returning I demanded a full refund.

You have done an incredible job showing commitment and great work ethic as a colleague and team player for McDonald’s britomart and also McDonald’s Quay st stores. The franchise owner for both stores is very lucky to have a very cheerful and loyal hardworking Employee such as yourself and you have shown your great work ethic and you have taken ownership of your job and duties where so many others have failed to perform and complete each and every task however this is not the case with you Ofiera. You are definitely one of the stars at McDonald’s Quay st and I thankyou for your services to the McDonald’s establishment and also to the community.
