Each time I come to Auckland and do work in a nearby datacentre I come here afterwards and get breakfast. It's sort of a tradition for me. Anyway this time it was so disappointing. I got a Big Breakfast, as always. The hash brown was cooked within an inch of its life, there was little bacon, the two bits of toast were half cooked and it was obvious the bread was stale. I asked for Tabasco and it was so old the colour of the sauce in the bottle was a deep brown instead of vibrant red. The eggs and sausage and tomato were still good. The coffee was also good as always, and the staff were as lovely and friendly as ever. But this was so disappointing, it always used to be great. Hopefully this was just a bad day, but I don't think I'll go back. Oh yes I could also see through into the kitchen and it just looked jammed with stuff...

Me and my girlfriend came here for breakfast, and it was some of the best food we've had here! She had the French toast which was not like any we've had before, nice and sweet and so crispy, coupled with 2 BIG slabs of bacon and banana halves. I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict which was divine, two bagels which 2 fillets of salmon EACH! As well as a huge dollop of delicious hollandaise sauce on a perfectly cooked poached egg on each bagel as well! It may seem a bit pricey at first glance but the portion sizes make up for it for sure.
