I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the legendary bottomless brunch at Flying Burrito Brothers Newmarket, and it was an absolute feast for the senses! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. As a group of 10, we were promptly seated and immediately welcomed with a delightful trio of starters. The combination of crispy tortilla chips, salsa, and the delectable black bean dip was a flavour explosion in every bite. The freshness of the ingredients was apparent, and it was the perfect way to kick off our afternoon.
For my main course, I opted for the chicken nachos, and boy, was I in for a treat! The nachos were a work of art, featuring crispy tortilla chips piled high with tender, seasoned chicken, melted cheese, and a symphony of colourful toppings. The dish was a harmonious blend of textures, flavours and cheeses, leaving me craving more with each mouthwatering bite. It was clear that Flying Burrito Brothers takes great pride in delivering exceptional food that satisfies even the most discerning palates.
To drink we had the red sangria and it flowed abundantly. It was a true delight. The rich, fruity notes of the sangria perfectly complemented the bold and vibrant flavours of the Mexican cuisine. Sipping on the refreshing sangria transported me to a tropical paradise, and it truly added an extra layer of enjoyment to the brunch. The Tequila Sunrises were equally impressive, expertly crafted and served with a smile. What impressed us the most was the astonishing speed at which our drinks arrived. Despite our large group of 10, the attentive and efficient staff made sure our glasses were never empty. They went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was flawless, catering to our every need with genuine warmth and professionalism.
The service, it was truly outstanding. The staff at Flying Burrito Brothers exemplified the meaning of hospitality. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and had a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience. Our group felt welcomed and cared for throughout the entire meal, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie that enhanced our enjoyment.
In summary, Flying Burrito Brothers Newmarket has earned its stellar reputation for a reason. With its amazing food, delightful drinks, and exceptional service, it's a must-visit destination for brunch enthusiasts and Mexican food lovers alike. Our group of 10 left with full bellies and unforgettable memories. I cannot recommend Flying Burrito Brothers enough, and I'm already planning my next visit to this...

I had a very odd feeling about the relationship between the older bar manager and the two waiters working. Noticed both of them were essentially hiding from him and avoiding interactions.
Flying Burrito Brothers - Newmarket
Service Issues: Staff couldn't identify menu specials despite menu directing customers to "ask our friendly team" Server consulted waiter, who consulted chef - none knew current offerings Untrained staff appeared to avoid management
Pricing: Margaritas $28.95 (special saves only $3) Food specials offered minimal $3 discounts on already overpriced items
Food Quality: Guacamole: acceptable but watered down, lacks authenticity Fried chicken: comparable to cheap takeaway at premium prices Jalapeños: only standout item
Atmosphere: Nearly empty restaurant (one other unhappy-looking couple) Somber environment - opposite of expected Mexican restaurant energy Staff seemed uncomfortable and poorly managed
After trying multiple authentic Mexican restaurants across Auckland, this ranks as the most disappointing experience. The combination of confused service, inflated pricing, and mediocre food in a lifeless atmosphere makes it impossible to recommend.

Read moreDefinitely the worst of the worst when it comes to Mexican food in auckland. I ordered a tequila tasting tray, and given my experience with them at many Mexican restaurants, I was quite disappointed. Instead of the expected presentation, I received three water glasses with barely a drop of tequila in each, with only crudely written vivid on the glasses and no explanation of what I was drinking. In contrast, other establishments in Auckland put in at least minimal effort in presentation and ensure each glass contains at least one full shot, as-well as a short description on the beverages served. Perhaps the owners of this establishment could benefit from valuing customer feedback and improving their service. My main gripe with this place is that there is no pride or effort put into anything being served. The overall experience is extremely lackluster, creating a depressing dining environment and for the price they are asking one would expect a lot more. The burrito i ordered was about 30$ and it was extremely lacklustre in taste and portion size. If your looking for a far better and cheaper Mexican dining experience I would recommend "mexico" in ellerslie. But if your going to eat in new market I would recommend pretty much anywhere other...
