Booked in at 10:30am for balayage/ full head highlights with a hairdresser I had a consult with a few days prior what I was asking for was quite complex but I was happy with what she was telling me, when I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment the woman at the desk was being passive aggressive about me “being late” turns out she was the one doing my hair and she had absolutely no idea what I was wanting then another woman came to talk to me and tell me because I was “late” I will only get half a head of foils I said no I booked for a full head she kept insisting it was my fault for being late, she then went to look on the system and said I was booked at 10:30am but they weren’t available so they changed it yet still had the audacity to be passive aggressive towards me for being “late” when I was actually early, she then kept asking me if I want to reschedule after wasting 4 hours of my day dedicated to this appointment, waste of time
EDIT: I never confirmed your new time, the only communication I received from you guys was a message in my junk folder about someone’s daughters school interviews ??? Completely unprofessional and unorganised obviously, also telling lies that I confirmed the time when I didn’t as well as saying I swore at staff when I never did ???? I have no reason to swear at anyone, saying this lie has just made your business even more unprofessional
I don’t know why you would think I would be happy adjusting my what I wanted to what you guys could be bothered to do, I’m not paying for a service I don’t want and I’m definitely not rescheduling with your guys when you’ve already wasted 5 hours of my day so making those offers is delusional, I declined and walked out you obviously seem mad you didn’t get money from me
I can see after I left my review you guys went in and edited your fake 5 star reviews from years ago to make my review appear at the bottom too
This business is unprofessional, dishonest...
Read moreIt took me 20 years to find the right hairdresser. I just had to put up with average hair colourists over the years and then I got to the point where I thought - enough is enough! Then I found Katie. Who I have crowned my "hairline magician".
I'm sure there are many ladies out there who get that "halo" effect after having their hair coloured. Especially if your skin tends to soak up every bit of moisture that it comes into contact with!
Well Katie, is that hair colour Ar-teest you never knew existed.
She is so precise, you would never know you just had your hair coloured as there isn't a trace of evidence on your hairline. By now you might be thinking I'm a bit OCD about hairlines - but you need to be when you're going grey - and I'm sure there are alot of people in the same boat as me. So now you know where to go. You're welcome ;)
Apart from the AMAZING-NESS of Katie :) Sandi has done such a great job of cultivating a warm and inviting culture within her team at the salon. As soon as you walk into The Following Hair Co. you are welcomed into such a fabulous ambience. I can easily sink into the plush chairs, sip on a complimentary coffee, and let my worries fade away as I put my full trust in Katie’s capable hands. It’s my little slice of paradise!
I also want to shout out to the rest of the amazing team! Honestly, any one of the ladies can look after me, they are all amazingly competent in their own right, and I place my full trust in them. LOVE...
Read moreI went a few days ago and am really unhappy with the results. I hadn't been to a hair dresser in years so felt that justified spending over $800 on a cut and balayage. I wanted a warm blonde colour with the whole bottom half of my hair coloured leading to my natural browner roots. I had a picture to show them. They did not colour the whole bottom of my hair, my natural dark/med brown is streaked throughout ashy grey cold looking blonde, does not match me at all, and not what i asked for.
The cut I asked for was for my hair to be v shaped and she kept cutting more layers, I mentioned it a few times that my hair looks cut straight at the bottom and she was like “you just need more layers at the front for that look”. I don’t know if it’s because she doesn’t know how to cut the hair in a v shape or if it’s because she felt like what she did was better, but I hate it. I’ve always loved v shaped hair from the back, so when you pull it forward it’s not boxy.
Not a big deal if I only went somewhere cheap, but spending the money that I did I’m very upset. I should say the ladies were very nice...
