Went in today to exchange a pair of $79 kids crocs that my mum had bought my daughter. They were 3 sizes too big so impossible to be worn. Sonya the manager of the store should not be in customer service. First she refused to exchange the shoes because they didn’t have a tag on, I showed her countless other shoes without tags on - they were sold without the tags on. She then said the receipt wasn’t for those shoes, I showed her clearly they were. She grunted when she saw she was wrong. Then they had a mark on. I explained that that mark underneath the shoe, nearly impossible to see without a microscope (see pic), could have come from people trying them on in the store, and they Cleary didn’t fit my daughter who was there. While trying to exchange the shoes, I was purchasing 4 other pairs, totalling around $500. But this impossible woman was hellbent on not doing the swap. I then showed her several pairs of shoes in the store that were filthy. I’m mind blown! I resorted to calling the brand manager who asked her to do the exchange for good will. Is there any there else to buy crocs? Because I’ll never give this woman business again! She is the most horrific sales manager I’ve ever come into contact with! Who looks at a $500 sale and says no. If I hadn’t escalated it she would have lost the sale completely and I would have to throw perfectly good brand new crocs in the bin. I made sure to take pics of the blue crocs eventually exchanged. The first time I visited the store I thought she was just having a bad day so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I visited for a second (and last time) today and honestly just wish I bought my pair of crocs online instead. This woman clearly hates her job and just could not be more uninterested in helping customers make a purchase. She couldn’t be bothered to look up from her paperwork behind the desk and answering any questions about sizing or even putting through the sale seemed like a large inconvenience to her.
