La Puerta — Restaurant in Municipality of Centar

La Puerta used to be my favorite place for years, however recently the burritos have been poorly made with few and not fresh ingredients. I believe they do not say in advance if some ingredients are out, so they will just put whatever they have left, especially in the evening. Some of the employees are super sweet, but others got mad because we ordered at 9.30 saying that it's close to closing hours, when there is an hour and a half until closing. I still love the vibe of La Puerta dearly, but in the center location specifically the quality varies immensely. This place is in the centre of the city and wants to capture the whole mexican food vibe, but it is just disapointing, as a local I've eaten here a few times and tried a few things and i can tell you everything is tasteless, unseasoned and garbage. The food is cooked once in 2 or 3 days maybe less and is just microwave reheated before serving..... the people working there are ok at least but they do lie about the preparation of the food. The whole place is disapointing at best if u want to eat go somewhere else there are a few similarly priced places...

Love Mexican food, and now is great to have two decent Mexican restaurants in Skopje, both in the city center, but I'll focus on La puerta, because it's very very close to original Mexican restaurant, I'm saying this from experience from usa. Restaurant is in the GTC (city shopping mall) with view of Vardar river, the mall has parking place and elevator so the place is accessible, one star missing because some of the products have price higher than should be.
