Hidden gem in the heart of Bergen. At a walking distance from the city center, just behind the start of Fløyen's cable car, there is a small and warm bar. If you don't know where it is, it can be challenging to just bump into it. However, this makes this place even more special for that. It's quite small inside, but also quite intimate. Everyone inside is ready to welcome you with a smile. Me and my friends had a cake or a muffin each, and coffee and cappuccino. Everything was delicious. The sjokoladekake and the muffin with caramel topping were great and had special tastes. I'd recommend asking the lady there about the ingredients. I recommend this place!

We were excited to try this café and its desserts around a week ago, arriving early and waiting eagerly before it opened. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. As soon as the waitress opened the door, she was rude and unwelcoming, telling us she needed space even though we weren't in the way. Inside, when we asked about the cake options, she seemed disinterested and unfriendly. We ordered coffee and requested a slice of carrot cake, but it wasn't even added to our bill so we didn’t get the chance to try. We ended up drinking our coffee quickly just to leave, as the uncomfortable vibe was too much. As tourists, good service is essential, and this experience was a letdown.

The coffee is good. The baked goods in my opinion could use some work. The total for 2 double shot lattes, a cookie, and carrot cake is 234 NOK The interior is cozy but fills up quickly. The guests are mainly tourists. Would not do work here as a digital nomad (I don't but they have wifi but would be rude to other guests in such a small space). Barista nice and skilled. If in area stop by but I would not make a special trip up the hill for imo. I do not think it is a 4.8 in all honesty, if you are used to 3rd wave (Australia and America) then you may be slightly disappointed.

Came for the famed cinnamon buns (kanelboller) and weren’t disappointed! They were actually out when we arrived, but told us they’d be getting fresh ones shortly. We waited about 15 minutes (passing the time with a very good (but pricey at 75kr) slice of carrot cake). The cinnamon buns were worth the wait and absolutely irresistible when hot out of the oven. We also had a chai latte, which was very pleasantly spiced and comforting. A great place to experience Bergen’s cafe culture that is also very conveniently located near the funicular.

Det Lille Kaffekompaniet: A Bergen Gem! Det Lille Kaffekompaniet in Bergen is an absolute delight! The cinnamon bun and carrot cake were heavenly, while the cafe latte and hot chocolate were perfectly crafted. The crumble was a delightful surprise with its crisp, buttery topping and fruity interior. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making for a seamless and pleasant experience. A must-visit for anyone in Bergen! Sometimes it was a bit full but service and speed was still very good and fast.

Very nice little cafe in the inner city of Bergen. Tasty cakes and coffee, cozy to sit inside and FRIENDLY staff! If the sun is out you can also enjoy your coffee outside - absolutely recommend it. There's free water you can grab next to the door. All cakes were fresh and we enjoyed all! Interesting Mocha coffee with Mint. Be aware that the cafe is small and is filled quickly when it's raining. Expect some time when the staff is preparing coffee - everything is handmade ;) Of course you can pay by card
