Not quite so sure where to start with this review and I dislike leaving poor reviews - but fell that people should know what they are getting into.
I think it would be best to mention that I am Vegan and when we came in they said there were several vegan choices. After a while we came to learn that they confused vegan and vegetarian, and had to wait 10 minutes to work out what I could actually order.
As shown in the photo, when we did order, some of the 'vegan' food had feta cheese with it which was incredibly disappointing and made me question if my dietary choices were being respected or understood.
Our main courses were mediocre at best. The taste profile was poor of the channa masala - overly strong tomato taste. Now maybe this would have been okay if this standard matched the prices, but as a British tourist, our table of 3 paid about £100.
We left quite quickly and went to 7 eleven for some much tastier and significantly cheaper food.
On the positive side of things, the two servers we interacted with were relatively sweet and kind, albeit not familiar with my vegan dietary choices. The ambience and atmosphere was okay too.
To summarise: overly expensive for the quality of food poor non-authentic indian food not familiar with 'vegan'...
Read moreThis place seemed to have anti-India bias it felt like. We were seated promptly without a reservation but that seemed to be the end of the good service. We ordered our food and then waited. And waited. And waited. We Noted folks at other tables who were seated 10-15 minutes after us were give papad and we didn’t seem to be getting them. I got the waiter’s attention and asked for the papad and still nothing came. Then startlingly the folks who ordered their food way after us started getting their food and main courses delivered and we still didn’t have anything! My wife, who happens to be of non-Indian heritage, was flabbergasted and told the waiter there seems to be reverse discrimination going on! The waiter probably didn’t understand what this meant as he had a blank look on his face. Finally our main course arrived and then came the papad! Food was fine as we had been craving good Indian after several days of pizza, sandwiches and such. Such a shame that service was a letdown. It seems like a lot of these restaurants are staffed by non-Indian staff who don’t really know how to serve with respect and...
Read moreThe most racist and liar staff that I have ever seen. We arrived in rainy day with our children , we were 7 people. The waiter told us first that the restaurant will close (it was 7:45 pm ) and it says that the restaurant closes @ 9:00 pm , So I told the waiter that Google says the restaurant closes @ 9 pm . She said ok I’ll have to clean this table and set it up for you, then another waiter told us to go and sit on a table next to the toilet and wait until our table is ready. They took few minutes then the first waiter came and said you can sit here then. I told her that this table is not suitable for us and we entered based on the first table she allocated for us , she said that the manager said no you must sit here. Then I talked to the manager who also said that that table is reserved . Now how that table is reserved and we were told that the restaurant is about to close ?! Bunch of rude staff , there is no way that I would pay for a bad service and rude staff. I am very much sure that this is an...
