Godt Brød Marken — Restaurant in Bergen

Coffee and cakes are standard for Godt Brød and Godt Brød is generally good. Bit expensive however. I've ordered selections of buns from them for taking to work. I was a bit annoyed that I didn't get a response to my email within the day so had to stop by on my way home to check and then when I came in the next morning they had only prepared 1 box instead of the 2 I asked for. Great for a quick snack

There are several branches dotted around Bergen - we visited 3 - staff were always helpful, and we found them all to speak great English (most shops and restaurants as well). They serve teas, coffees and hot chocolate - oat milk was available. Cakes and pastries - about half were vegan. Sandwiches and wraps - some pre made, others made to order. The vegan option was humous and sun dried tomato. There were cheese options for the veggies. Good value (for Norway anyway)....

We both had a sandwich, mine was vegetarian with cheese on a wonderful grain bread, my husband customized his sandwich with a sesame bun with turkey/mustard/garlic cream cheese/peppers/lettuce also very good.
