The drinks are absurdly overpriced. When you walk in, no one greets or assists you. After sitting down, the three bartenders behind the counter continue chatting among themselves and make no effort to take your order. You’re expected to go up to the bar, place your order, and pay immediately, as if they assume you might walk out without paying.
The menu has a QR code labeled “order here,” but it only shows about half of what’s available on the physical menu. We asked for an Irish coffee listed only on the paper menu, and two of the bartenders laughed before asking a third, who also laughed before finally preparing it.
Paying 170 NOK for a tiny drink, with no table service and being laughed at in the process, is simply ridiculous. It’s obvious that the three behind the bar are just typical interns, speaking English, joking around, and showing zero professionalism.
It’s a real shame, especially at one of Bergen’s most...

Ordered quickly upon arrival , was initially patient but then customers from a cruise strolled in , then a further 15 minutes later upon their arrival they mumbled about how long their order was taking (which was identical to ours) and of course, they who wave their American $$ with a little noise receive preferential treatment and service to keep them happy at the expense of the more patient customers who had patiently waited in the first place. Perhaps start using your table numbers to organise yourselves, and to avoid customers jumping the queue and hiring extra staff for the...
Read moreThis was recommended by our hotel and it was a 5 minute walk. The pub was nice, plenty of seating options and quiet music. However the staff was not welcoming at all. You order at the bar and they bring to your table. If you want water or napkins, you go up and ask or see if it’s available on the bar. The bartender was not forthcoming with any and we sort of felt like we were bothering them! Food was ok, drinks ok but not worth $81 for a couple bowls of stew, 1 wine and 1 small size beer. But I realize Norway is expensive. Being treated with friendliness is key for the...
