Bristol Grill — Restaurant in Oslo

The Bristol Grill is the restaurant of Hotel Bristol but with plenty of non-overnight guests as well.

The interior is classic with dark wooden panels, crystal chandeliers, white table cloth's and candles. The atmosphere oozes history and makes your mind wander off easily thinking about all the people and events that have passed through or taken place here through the times. The Bristol Grill is a pleasant place to dine at. I highly recommend to start at the separate bar with a drink before dinner.

The menu is fairly limited with up to 5 dishes per starters, mains and desserts. However, the restaurant offer additional seasonal specials such as traditional Norwegian Christmas food up until Christmas. The wine list is of good quality. The food quality is not spectacular but of good standard. So, do not expect to be amazed, but rather having a well made meal of good quality produce.

So excited to try out this highly recommended restaurant! We made sure to secure a reservation ahead of time. Even though we didn't feel too hungry beforehand, I'm so glad we decided to go because the food was absolutely amazing! OMG, the tartare was absolutely divine! The service was so polite and helpful, and the atmosphere was just the perfect blend of calm and relaxing. 😍👌 Overall, I must say that the food was superb! Turn back time when you walk into this haven in middle of Oslo. You are met by a fantastic staff helping you find your seat. The warmth, atmosphere and quality of service and food is sublime. The waiters here are really helpful and teaches you about different wine types if you are not sure what you should choose for your main course.
