We went as a group of 25 people for dinner on 15th June 2024. There was a waiter from India, who didn’t know service manners. He asked me and my friend to give our soup bawl back without any excuses. Then I asked him whether he is new to the service. Then he was told that the way he asked out soup bawl back is not polite. Then he said me that it’s not big issue. Then I said him that it’s not big issues according to his cognitive capacity. Then he said that “look here I have been working this place for last three years and this not my full time job. And I am an engineer by profession. “ He was so arrogant at that time and started to argue with us. But we did not encourage him to do it. But he didn’t realize that he is a waiter in front of us and not en engineer. He thought that we are from India, then I said him that we are from Sri Lanka and not to treat us the same way he does for his own nationality. Had Christmas food here. The pinnekjøtt (lamb ribs) were very fatty, almost all fat and no meat. The rutabaga was good, but the potatoes were bland. And that was the meal. Missed having more sides with the food.

The rice pudding consisted of rice that was not cooked enough (still a bit hard). The cream was not blended well with the rice; it was more like eating rice with some cream as well. Worst of all was that it tasted strongly of almond essence, or something like that. Was not a good rice pudding at all.

Prices are a bit stiff, especially when expecting more from the food than what we got. The ones who ordered pork ribs seemed to be...

They have ample seats/tables (thank goodness since we are a party of 6 and didn’t make reservations). The staff is friendly. The ribs are very good and moist not dry, and the BBQ sauce is just right. My husband surprisingly liked the meatballs the best! The sweet potato fries was the winner. It came with the ribs and we had to get another order. It’s crispy! So many restaurants in the US serve sweet potato fries but are almost always soggy, never this crispy but textural texture. They deserve their 4+ star...
