We have visited this bar every night, both times we have been in Oslo and really like it. The music is hit or miss, but is always of the metal/rock variety. It's a full bar, but remember alcohol is carefully regulated in Norway, so you won't be getting drunk. They don't have many mixers, so don't expect anything too fancy. They also don't like if you bring in outside beverages, not even water. They are also reasonably priced for Oslo. There is one pool table and I think they used to have live music, but now tables are on the stage so maybe not so much anymore. If you are a fan of metal you must come here...
Read moreFantastic place with fantastic staff and friendly clientele. We were visiting Norway from Ireland and made it our business to visit this bar from online recommendations, to which we were very pleased with the overall experience.
The staff recommended many local made drinks that, of course, we tried. We even bought patches that they had on sale there to add to our collections.
Finally, the music playing was not live music on the day of our visit but the playlist they had going was brilliant. 10/10 we would revisit this place on our next return to Norway. We might even make it...

The music when I went was TERRIBLE though! Saturday night, 18/12/22, playing club (electronic dance music) remixes of Rammstein songs 80% of the night (I am not exaggerating). The other 20% was other metal song club remixes, or goth music. Really disappointed! Not an actual metal song the whole 3/4 hours I was here. I couldn't believe it, other reviews made me think it would be proper metal, or at least rock. I don't recommend if you're looking for...
