THE SAUSAGE FACTORY & THE WILD FACTORY — Restaurant in Oslo

What a great surprise..!!! Not a " Sttreet Food" regular...we normally like to sit down and order..So this place took us by surprise. Walking the waterfront in Oslo...Wife says you want something..? We walked up to the Sausage Factory...ordered...soooo glad we did. Moose sausage and the Bratwurst. Order of fries....Damn it...!!! Was it good...Bammmmm!!! Memorable meal. Bread/ bun was a fresh baked roll. Not a standard bun. Lots of toppings, specific to each sausage. Right amount of mustard/ sauce. The fries were hot, fresh, crisp..great seasoning.. Found a place in the shade to eat . It was awesome...highly...

You know those associations you have to hotdogs in buns? Leave them all at home. This is something else entirely. This is a straight-up gourmet meal cleverly disguised as a hotdog, made by someone who really takes pride in their craft. It’s not only the best street food I’ve ever had in Oslo, but among the top 5 street food experiences I’ve had anywhere...

The moose sausage is so good! I keep on passing by here but never thought it would be this good. It was summer so the queue is long and you need to wait for the food. There was no chair so you need to look for chairs near the port or the nearby plaza. This is good for to go when you’re strolling...
