My favorite coffeehouse so far in Panama City. The decor and atmosphere are very much like North Americans are used to (yes, Starbucks, or maybe you remember Caribou Coffee), but don’t ignore the food options—they’ve got these incredible authentic Panamanian soups, as if someone’s grandma or favorite aunt is working in the back. I had the sancocho and it was classic comfort food. Overall, a comfortable place to have long conversations or work on your computer. The clientele seems influenced by the neighborhood, professionals and people connected with the nearby university.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. When I tasted their scrambled eggs for the first time. The flavor took me back to my childhood eating my family's breakfast. So flavorful, airy, and buttery. Super good dining location. Love the staff!

Súper agradable. El lugar está súper a gusto para una reunión con amigos, pasar a comer o quedarte a trabajar. El servicio es muy bueno. Tienen opciones de menú ejecutivo. Nosotros pedimos el caldo de costilla, con buena cantidad de carne y muy bien sazonado. Terminamos con una empanada de guayaba y queso y un café express. El café para mi gusto estaba algo ácido , aunque combinaba muy bien con el dulce de la empanada. Solo no nos aceptaron American Express como pago Por el resto, vale la pena. Por cierto que recomiendan el pastel de zanahoria.

El restaurante Cabrera es de esos lugares que te hacen sentir como en casa desde que llegas. El trato al cliente es cálido y atento, el ambiente acogedor y el aroma a buen café te envuelve apenas entras. Su menú es variado, con opciones para todos los gustos, pero el desayuno istmeño definitivamente se roba el show: cada bocado tiene ese sabor auténtico y casero que tanto se agradece.

En esta ocasión, además, están ofreciendo un chicheme ESPECTACULAR, de esos que te transportan a las fondas tradicionales de interior, cremoso, dulce en su punto y perfectamente preparado.
