El Santuario — Restaurant in San Felipe

Take your visitors here if you want them to leave Panama with a positive view of the country. Everything about it (service, atmosphere, bathrooms with hand towels and lotion) is way better than the other typical restaurants you find in Panama. Plus the outdoor courtyard is pleasant to walk in and take pictures or get a drink from the bar. Sashimi salad for lunch was surprisingly nice. Indian rogan josh and chinese popcorn chicken also great. I was happy to find a lamb option, as it's a nice change from beef and chicken. Naan was good (apparantly they have the only tandoori oven in the country). The fluffy white rice was also great, especially when you are used to the bland panamanian kind. Serving size maybe a bit small comparatively, but normal when it comes to 'classy' restaurants. This hotel is very beautiful and restaurant is equally lovely. Very friendly and efficient servers. Sonia, Danny, Bruno and the hostess were so welcoming and brought everything out nice and hot. They turned fans on for us at our garden table. It’s my best food experience so far in Panama City and NOT overpriced for good food and portions perfect! Located inside of Hotel La Compañia, el Santuario is one of the many restaurants within the hotel. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating offers a beautiful view of the courtyard. I've been there both for breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast is delicious and affordable and would 100% recommend.
