Kapulí | Cafetería de Especialidad — Restaurant in Huaraz

My fiancé and I found this place when we were lugging our huge backpacks around the city just trying to find some good food and coffee. Stumbled into this cafe and were blessed with the sweetest older woman working who has worked there for many years and makes all the food, pastries and drinks on her own. We ordered a side of 6 eggs and it only cost 10 soles (other places charged 16 soles for just three eggs). We also got the chicken tamal and empanada and coffees. This is a nice small café with a lovely main waitress. Unfortunately she did not inform us that there was no sourdough bread, and we got served tostadas on dry over-toasted bread, that looked nothing at all like the pictures of what they promise - see picture of difference (Caprese tostada). Really disappointed with this place. Their menu has smoothie bowls but when we tried to order one, they say they don’t have them. We got a tamal but it had two little pieces of cold meat in it and cost 8 soles. All of the menu items seem quite overpriced.
