Antica Pizzería Barranco — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We walked in and the place was dead. We ordered drinks and a pizza. The drinks came maybe 1 minute prior to our pizza. After the pizza we literally sat at the table for about 20 mins with nobody coming to check on us at all. There was 1 more table of 3 people and about 4 waiters. Horrible service. I am writing this review as I'm still sitting here at the table with still no service. Do not recommend based on the service. Pizza was OK....lacking flavor. Really romantic atmosphere with low lights and candles on the tables. You feel you are inside an old wine cellar. We were welcomed by the owner himself, who was really kind to us and showed us to our table. The best thing was the prosciutto pizza. They have a variety of wines to offer and the pizza is made in a traditional Italian oven. Not the cheapest place in Lima but not the most expensive either. Go by taxi unless you feel like searching for parking...

The place looks kind of fancy, sort of antique. Upon arriving my girlfriend and I were asked if we had reservations. But the food underdelivered and we found out our table was dirty - it had had oil on it.
