I happened to be working nearby circa August 2003 when this branch opened as the first Starbucks in all of Latin America. Exciting times! The attached picture, a scanned photo, is from days after it opened. Unfortunately I don't have an interior picture but I vaguely remember it being typical Starbucks of the era, with chessboard tables and whatnot. Today I returned after 21 years! It's been remodeled beautifully, with a relaxing atmosphere and a lovely patio area. There is an outside patio with a light screen of plants that allows a view out without feeling like people are staring in at you. Plus it is located in a suburb called America, which is ironic. America is a Spanish word before it...
