Happy Hour review only Husband and I had a heavy lunch so we didn't feel like having any dinner, just a couple of drinks. We walked around the Plaza de Armas and bet our money here. We made sure we can have drinks only and that they don't charge extra service fee (we heard about what they do to tourists in Aguas Calientes). From the outside, it didn't appear that there is other customers, but most customers are seated either upstairs or near the wood fire oven. We were ushered upstairs and were given menu immediately. There were quite a few large parties and they are short-staffed so we waited a little bit to order. That's OK, we were not in a hurry. We ordered 2 pisco sours (2 for S/15). It took them about 15 mins to make. The drink was nice and spiked. We like it and order another one. Another 15 mins later...The next drink is even stronger! We love strong drinks, so we...

The place is somehow nice close to the main Plaza with really nice view however the service is terrible. We have ordered happy hour drinks - 2x happy hour which supposed to cost 2x18 soles. We waited over 30 minutes for simple drinks and after we wanted to paid it turned out that selection in our drinks is not within the happy hour menu - not to mention we have asked the waiter twice if that is the happy hour. Due to really long waiting time and obvious scam we declined to pay 72 soles and after 5 minutes of conversation they agreed it is their fault and we paid what we were supposed to, but it is mainly due to the fact that we had Spanish speaker within the group. I could not recommend this place less. The food was okay, I guess, byt not good. Our food was forgotten. Then when we paid the staff seemed angry we did not tip. It took two hours. Even to pay we had to stare at them for ten to fifteen minutes. Then were rude about not being tipped when tipping is not even expected or normal in Peru.
