We enjoyed our two night stay at Valley Inca. The rooms are nice, the beds are decent, and the showers are consistently warm-hot. The WiFi was troublesome for us - we couldn't even do research for our next place to stay. The upper terrace is a nice addition. When we first arrived the room we received had a sizeable mold issue in the bathroom - the kind that you know the management knows about. When we mentioned it we were immediately switched to a different room, this one without the private bathroom we paid for. We negotiated a discount but never received the refund, leaving me a bit less than happy. This hostel is noisy. Family lives on site, which includes babies crying at least twice a day, and in the middle of the night. One day we woke up to kids shows being blasted on a TV. The rooms do not dampen noise from other guests, either. The host and staff are very friendly, and patient with tourist questions. All in all, a good stay, but I don't think we'll stay here again.

Location is perfect, a mere minutes walking from Pinkullayna and Ollantaytambo ruins aswell as the plaza. Rooftop provides great views of the surrounding area. Family that owns the Hostal are very nice. Not the most “soundproof” place, at least for my room, since at night I was still able to hear some talking and music playing from the outside streets. However it wasn’t too loud to bother me and was able to still sleep just fine. Overall I would recommend this place if you want a basic room in a great location for a good price.

Right in town, just off the main square. Check in was easy and a lovely staff work they. They were super eager to assist with anything. Room is a decent size, large bed with warm blankets, TV, charging ports and a cupboard. Hot shower and soap provided. We didn’t need it, but the room doesn’t have a heater. You need to climb stairs and they have a terrace where you can buy breakfast. It’s pretty quiet, though if street side, you hear the running water of the aqueducts. For $25 it’s a bargain.

Excellent location..couple of mins walk to the main square...staff very friendly and helpful...good enough breakfast...rooms are up a steep stairs but staff carried our luggage up...the first night we had a room with no window...dark and quiet at night which was nice but we wanted a room with a window and were moved the next morning..if you are someone who likes a dark room bring eyeshades as the curtains don't block out much light!..no heater in the room but we didn't need it...would definitely...
