Normally I leave bad stuff alone, but I felt the ethical duty to report to other potential customers that this was a top 5 worst coffee I ever had in my life. I've had several very bad coffees in my life. And the average Peruvian coffee is pretty bad to start with; the one they call 'cafe pasado' (basically molasses-thick syrup that look like it spent two days burning in the coffee machine and that you mix with boiled water)... well this was a legit machne made coffee, and it was 100 times worst than cafe pasado. Once, on a bike tour, I used an old sock as coffee filter (see picture as proof), and what I drank then rates better than this place's coffee. This here tasted like used dishwasher water, with some hints of soap in it. It was such a bad coffee that I couldn't finish it, and I basically never ever don't finish a coffee. I'm an absolute coffee junky and I even finish my cafes pasados. The rest of the breakfast was a farce. A bunch of dry baggette slices. There were like 10 or 12, and an amount of dry (probably expired) butter and jam that would cover maybe three of them if spreading cheapskatingly. The orange juice was fine.

Cozy room on the first floor. Nice cocktails and drinks for affordable price. They also have a nice collection of small cheap sandwiches to go with it. The waiter was super friendly, they have WiFi, plugs, bathroom and take card so it's a perfect spot to wait for a night bus. I'd definitely go back there.

A great place where everything is homemade. The orange juice is particularly exceptional as is the coffee. I highly recommend

Cool place if you can ever discover when they are actually open. We tried several times, don't believe the Google times posted. I think it is a cultural thing, they come in when they want to , regardless of the day or posted times etc. Too bad, because all the terrible coffee in the dumpy city they could really make a killing if they...
