We just had the worst dine-in experience in whole Peru. This café seemed like a nice place, so we came to opening, but couldn't get in at 6h, the café opened with 15 min delay. We sat down and ordered their famous breakfast menus. We waited 20 minutes and then the waiter loudly announced that today no breakfast menus will be served, and he would re-take all the orders. We should have left at this point but we were hungry. We ordered coffees, empanadas and a chocolate croissant that the waiter said was not available but then he realized he could get it from downstairs (their own bakery). After 25 minutes more, the staff started serving the clients. We were the first clients but we were served last. Nonetheless, our orders were mistaken and the croissant never came, and when I signaled it to the waiter, he said he won't be bringing it upstairs to me and I can fetch it from downstairs myself if I really want it. The food is not bad but the experience as a whole is the absolute worst (making coffee and microwaving 2 empanadas should not take 30 minutes), and I honestly think all the kitchen and waiter staff should be fired right now. Our waiter couldn't even look me in the eye and sincerely apologize for ruining...
Read morePet friendly. Overall disappointing for a 4.3 stars. I had a club sandwich in ciabatta.
The ciabatta is actually a French baguette and pretty good, I will come back to get my bread here to do sandwiches at home.
The filling are disappointing, especially when you consider the quality of the local products available easily in Peru.
The waffle are a path, tasteless and the ice cream isn't artisanale.
And what is call maple syrup is just processed sugar that shouldn't exist in the place and clearly not use in any restaurant. Minus 1 star just for that.
Conclusion: 1 star because it's pet friendly and 1 star for the rest is just OK while not disgusting.
The waiter was nice but it took way too long to get our order, particularly the drinks and when you order a hot chocolate in the cold weather of Puno, you want it fast.

However, the breakfast options are only offered till 11 AM. I would highly suggest anyone nearby to eat at...
