CPI Call Shop & Craft Beer Cafe — Restaurant in Angeles

THE LADY OWNER IS EXTREMELY RUDE. We were peacefully enjoying our beer and taking photos of the cute cat when the owner suddenly snapped at us and told us to not take HER photos (which we’re obviously not doing unless she’s the cat), and to not listen to the loud conversation she was having with another guest she was flirting with. When I told her that we were not taking her photos and asked why she was being rude, she got angrier and said “how dare you talk back to the OWNER of this place.” Apparently this is not the first time that the owner has been rude towards customers. I would have given this place a -5 star if that was possible. Stay away from this bar and get your craft beers elsewhere where you wouldn’t be treated badly.

Yes you are right, I did answer you back after you lashed at me for no reason at all aside from you being a rude person. And you’re completely lying about what I said. What I did was respectfully ask you to not be rude with your customers, to which you arrogantly replied that I shouldn’t answer back coz you’re the owner. The owner old lady was yelling at customers. Bad vibes all around at this place. Beer 4 times more expensive than the micro brewery they get the beer from. Also lots of beggars and touts if you sit outside and the young lady staff person in my picture even encourages them to beg to the foreign tourists. Give this place a pass if you are not a local.

Response: For the newbie to Angeles this is exactly the place to stay away from. Management blaming the customers for their issues. First blaming the customer being yelled at by the owner and second now stating my personal observations are lies. I will be making my latest walking street video for my subscribers and will add the clip with the embarrassing argument and lady employee smiling and laughing when the touts bothered your customers. Video doesn't lie. It would nice if you just looked into this and apologized if this isn't a common happening as I can only report on what I see first-hand. Owner is very moody, disrespectful, passive-aggressive, and verbally attacks his regular customers. Many regulars have never returned. Also, several waitresses have quit - there is only one who puts up with the owner's bad attitude.

I've been going here for years, and the first thing I noticed was the owner yelling at and insulting a waitress. A recently hired waitress was crying after the owner scolded and berated her. This is absolutely emotional abuse.

The craft beer is inconsistent. Some batches are okay while other batches will give you a headache and a horrible hangover, plus a huge tummy (ask me how i know). The other items are good, for example bagels and waffles, or a cup of coffee. The prices though - are through the roof.
