We usually eat ramen at Ramen Nagi SM Pampanga City. And we love the great service there. You don't need to ask the staff for them to fill in the condiments because everything is in the table. To compare this branch, Ramen Nagi at SM Clark City to the SM Nagi at SM Pampanga City. This branch is the worst of all the worst. We had our dinner yesterday, June 18, 2022 around 2000H-2100H. When I sat on the table, I observed the condiments which is usually use for ramen were not on the table. So, I asked the waitress to please give us the condiments. It took me 3 approaches before someone gave the thing I am asking. Not to mention the guy who's wearing all black was so sarcastic when I asked to fill in the condiments tray. He gave the condiments one by one with his unapproachable facial expression. Additionally, I had to ask them to fill in the napkin tray. smh. Just wondering why they can't provide the requests immediately to us? The restaurant wasn't that full on the said date and time.
When I checked the receipt, I found out that they charged me for 10% service charge which they are completely not entitled to. I wouldn't recommend this branch of Ramen Nagi. Terrible experience. Bless!
P.S. To the guy who's wearing all black on the said date and time. God bless you, Sir! Thank you for your...
Read moreFirst, the food is delicious. You may have to 'doctor' it a bit to suit your exact tastes but everything you need is supplied - spice, peppers, condiments, and a wide range of add-ons for the ramen itself. Choose from different cuts of pork, add some veggies, make the broth more to your liking... everything is adjustable. You go to Ramen Nagi for the ramen, but their side dishes or appetizers are wonderful too. I've tried their gyoza, egg rolls, and two kinds of karaage (breaded friend chicken thighs). All of those side dishes are 5*. We usually get one bowl of ramen and two appetizers. Both of us leave full with no waste. A lovely meal every time. The locations we've been to are all in malls so seating is crowded, often with some waiting if you go at peak times. (Very popular on holidays as it's a bit expensive.) The wait staff, it seems, is generally busy. No real personal touch here. The cooks are authentic, though. Great craftsmen you can see working all their magic in the open kitchen - pretty cool. Read moreThis is my first time eating at Ramen Nagi in SM Clark, and it was a disappointing experience.
Before we entered, I asked one of the servers wearing a Japanese kimono if there was a washroom available. The server didn’t bother looking at us, so I said, “Excuse me, hello?” That’s when she finally responded.
As you can see in the attached picture, the coaster they used for my food was disgusting. I couldn’t even bear to eat with it in front of me.
The Butao Ramen included with my kiddie meal was bland and tasteless. I asked the server if the kiddie ramen was supposed to taste like that, and she immediately apologized. The manager then approached our table and gave me a new small bowl of ramen, but it tasted the same as the first one.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I will never try this...
