Good quality food. Nice to have some European food at the mall, not just the typical Filipino and American fanfare. Ordered the French onion soup with a bread bowl, beef lasagna, egg salad croissant, and shrimp pesto spaghetti. All of them were very delicious. The beef lasagna and shrimp pesto were especially delicious according to everyone I was with. The French onion soup seemed a little watery and boring, but was still decent. The egg salad croissant was an interesting item and a nice appetizer. Maybe even a small meal if you weren't very hungry. Unlimited free water. Employees were friendly. Cons: A little bit expensive, and the tables were dirty. They obviously had not been wiped down all day. I wiped them down myself with a towel. Also note that none of the main courses are available after 8:00 PM.
I would eat here again if I was at the mall.
I have posted pictures of the complete menu as of...
Read moreGreat place in the mall for desserts, but the items are pricey and the counter service always convoluted with a selection/payment challenge that's neither orderly nor consistent. Today though, their subpar service prompts a review:
First, they charged me P82 for the brownie that was clearly marked P72. Upon my objection and showing them the marked price, they insisted on charging me the higher price anyway.
Second, when I got home I realized they forgot my choc parfeit, though I'd pointed it out twice to the girl behind the counter.
Third, they slipped two muffins into one little plastic sleeve - not the normal routine at all for the desserts. It's a small act of laziness in this case that inhibits my freezer intentions.
Finally, after writing these comments on the company's website contact forum, I found the site rejecting any such comment submittal.
That's 4 negatives in one day...
Read moreStaff is discriminating towards Filipinos. First time at French Bakery Clark and we were in time for the 50% off sale. The person managing the line let us in to choose the breads. Grabbed a few then lined up. We didn't get any number. As I lined up, I even asked who was the last in line. At the counter, after the local American finished paying at the cashier, without a number, I was greeted with, "nasan po number nyo?" They didn't give us any number so it was a failure on their part. They were insisting to let the person behind to pay first because they have a number that they didn't give us. The solution they're giving is also insulting. They asked if they, the person behind, can pay first — the same as insisting we're in the wrong and we cut in line. They didn't do that with the person in front. It is very discriminating. I don't recommend this branch. They didn't...
