I’ve been to some Japanese Restaurants but I always overlook this old, local Japanese Restaurant because of my impression that it’s too pricey, I may not afford it. So I tried it yesterday and guess what, the other Japanese restaurants I’ve been to, multiple times are pricier than here. Ironic. Lol. Anyway, a friend told me to try their Ramen. But yesterday I wasn’t craving for Ramen so I ordered the following: Sukiyaki set, Ika (Squid) Sushi and of course, Tuna Sashimi -all for myself. Yeah. Okay, the Sukiyaki is great, I loved it. It tastes the same as the Sukiyaki at Sakura Japanese Restaurant but Yu-Fu-In’s Sukiyaki don’t have light noodles in it. Just veggies and beef. For the Sashimi, I’m not sure it was the right cut for a Sashimi as it is thick. I thought Sashimis are thin cuts. Anyway, the more the merrier right? But I can tell, it was quantity over quality. The Ika (Squid) Sushi is so gummy, I’m surprised. It was nothing like the one I tasted at Genki Sushi which was soft and creamy. Though there’s still creaminess in the end, the more you chew it, but I definitely struggled. I also wanted to try their Yakiniku since I think that’s their specialty but it is only served during dinner -I was there in the afternoon. I may try that with Ramen on my next visit. Ambience is old, like not deliberately old and a little bit traditional Japanese.

I'm so glad I finally tried this exceptional Japanese restaurant, which I've been noticing since October 2007. After being convinced by outstanding Google reviews, I visited last Monday, February 12, 2024, and was thoroughly impressed. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the quality of service was top-notch. The friendly staff added to the warm and romantic ambiance, making it an ideal spot for special occasions. What's more, the prices were surprisingly affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants I've tried. Overall, I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Japanese dining experience.

In my own personal opinion, it's definitely one of the best japanese restaurants in the province. The service is great. The food is great. The food is a bit pricey but it's worth it. The yakiniku is a must try because the meat they offer is so good and the experience is definitely something else compared to korean bbq places we often eat at. We had the family set yakiniku, 10kinds of sushi, salmon sashimi, ramen, California maki, and some shrimp tempura and everything was great.

If you are the owner just reading this. I want to give a feedback on your service. I just had dinner at your restaurant. We came in at 8pm and were not aware that your restaurant closes at 8.30pm. You staff never informed. We ordered our food and it took your staff 20mins to get our food. 5 mins later they get bill (invoice) demanding that we pay. I mentioned that we have just begun eating and I will come to the counter and pay as soon as we finish.

10mins later another, we were almost done with our meal. I just had little bit of clear soup remaining. Your waitress came in again demanding I pay. I showed her my soup, told her that it would take just a few minutes and i would like to finish the soup in peace. Your waitress refused and demanded i pay immediately. I was so insulted that i just left the dinner unfinished, paid the bill and left.

This was my last night in Philippines before going back to my country and your staff managed to spoil it. Absolutely rude behaviour with no concern that a foreigner is visiting.

I hope you change the behaviour of your staff. I am going to give a bad review on google and make sure none of my friends ever come to the restaurant i was...

One of the best authentic Japanese restaurants in clark. Every time i come to clark this is the best place to dine if you’re craving for Japanese food, you know the restaurant is good if you see half of the customers are Japanese. The service is quick and very attentive because you have the buzzer on the table to call them. They also have huge space for second floor for group dinners, the only con for the restaurant is the parking space they only have like 8 to 9 slot six on the front and three at the back. When its peak hours the parking gets full really quick, i suggest to come here early before peak hours.

Overall two thumbs up! I always recommend my friends to eat here you...
