Sorry for the long review. Poor service quality. 🥲 Tried to eat here with my 3 kids today. We waited for the waiter to get our order but after 10min. Still no one came to take our order. So i asked my wife to go to the counter instead but the waitress said "saglit lang po marami pa akong ginagawa". It's understandable because dalawa lang sila na staff. So we waited patiently. After 5 minutes another waitress came near us to clean up the table next to us before getting our order. [Still being patient] We ordered 3 noodles as per request of my little kids. 8, 6 and 3 yrs old. I ordered a platter of rice and ½chicken as well. While waiting for our order to arrive, the people sitting next to us left. Then an older woman and her husband came in and sat to that very table. After 15 minutes of waiting they also left because no one approached them to get their order. Then another family came 5 minutes after the older people left. Someone took their order right away. So while still waiting for our orders to arrive my kids fell asleep while waiting. Then after another 15min. Have passed, the rice and the chicken arrived at our table. Then the table next to us got their orders as well. We did not start to eat yet because the food of my kids hasnt arrived yet. Then we heard the waitresses talking about our order[it seems like they forgot to tell the kitchen about our order] we were hungry and this agitated me. so i simply asked the waitress to get the bill, cancel the noodles and politely asked for the rice and chicken to be packed. Then the waitress agitatedly said PASENSYA NA 2 LANG KAMI E. Then i just politely told her that i dont want to argue. What a...
Read moreI honestly don’t understand the hype around this Chinese restaurant. Sure, it’s been around in Baguio for a long time, but there’s really nothing special about their food.
We only ordered Luisa’s Rice and Beef Mami this time since I had already tried their siopao before—and even that wasn’t great. In fact, the siopao from Mido Inn, down Session Road near Malcolm Square, tastes much better.
The rice in the Luisa’s Rice dish had a distinct taste—like NFA or cheap quality rice. I’m sure they’re not using Jasmine or Dinorado rice. The roasted chicken, Chinese meat, and vegetables were okay, but the rice really brought the dish down.
As for the Beef Mami, the serving size felt too small for its ₱100 price tag. Just a few pieces of beef and a couple of spoonfuls of noodles—no vegetables at all. For that price, it just isn’t worth it. Honestly, the soups at Rose Café offer much better value.
Overall, the ambiance was nice and the staff were friendly. But when it comes to the price versus quantity, you’re not getting your money’s worth. There are other Chinese restaurants out there that are more affordable and offer...
Read moreWe only wanted to try this place coz of a certain vlog mentioning their mami was delicious. However, we were not able to order it coz we were already full with their Luisas Rice the first time we were there. So we visited again to taste this famous mami. When it arrived, we did not really check everything because they say they serve it all fresh, especially the noodles. We ate a bit, mostly the toppings, but were hesitant to continue kasi aside from overcooked yong noodles, something was off with the taste. We informed one of the servers and were expecting some explanation pero wala siyang ginawa. She did not come back to our table. We decided na magbill out nlng. Para sure, natanong ko na din sa cashier kung ganun talaga ung noodles nila. Then she said na dapat daw sinabihan namin sila para napalitan......... oh well. thanks anyway. ayaw ko na mag explain..
naenjoy ko here is the...
