Anyone who visits Baguio would also drop by Good Taste Restaurant for lunch or dinner or late meals, it's becoming a tradition for tourists. A chinese / family-style cooking, not the usual fast food or expensive meal you try when traveling. I would recommend Birds Nest Soup to prepare your appetite, Chopseuy for the freshest vegetables, Beef Ampalaya and Beef Broccoli for a little bittersweet palate cleanser, Steamed Shrimp, Shanghai, and Calamares for additional pika-pika, Sinigang is also delicious! You can try their buttered chicken but it's nothing special, more like ketchup chicken. Each meal is served in small or family serving sizes, good portion sizes for sharing. It's cheaper compared to other restaurants around Baguio area. Affordable and sulit! Just be patient with their staff because they serve close to a hundred tables and everyone wants something, busing out tables, delivering the orders. Also, be extra patient with the long waiting list because it's really jam packed during meal times, peak months and holidays. They have a small bakeshop on the side so you can munch on a few pastries while waiting for your table.

A Mealtime Nightmare: Service That's Non-Existent The service is so bad. Food servers will ignore you and pretend they haven't seen you. The will not clean the table properly. Disclaimer: This review is based on a single experience and does not necessarily reflect the overall quality of the establishment. I’ve dined at countless restaurants, but my recent experience here at New Good Taste was a truly disheartening one. While I’ve heard whispers of subpar service in the past, I was unprepared for the level of neglect I encountered. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that the staff was more interested in anything but their jobs. Servers seemed to have perfected the art of invisibility, gliding past the table with practiced nonchalance. It felt as though we were hosting a private dinner party, complete with phantom waiters. The food, when it eventually arrived, was decent enough, but it was the service, or rather, the lack thereof, that truly left a bitter taste. One can only speculate as to the reasons for this appalling behavior. Perhaps the staff is underpaid and overworked, leading to a demoralized workforce. Or maybe management has created a culture of complacency, where lackluster performance is tolerated. Whatever the cause, the result is a dining experience that is nothing short of insulting. It’s a shame, really. Good food deserves to be complemented by good service. Good Taste has the potential to be a good establishment, but until they address the glaring issues with their staff, I would strongly advise diners to look elsewhere. I urge the management to take this review seriously and implement changes to ensure that customers are treated with the respect and attention they deserve.

Nothing special about the foods. Felt nothing more like a chow hall back in my military days. Often times you need to fall a long queue just to go in. A lot of people eat there (which I really don’t have a clue what the fanaticism is all about). Food served long and when it reached your table it’s almost gone cold. Soup are not hot anymore.. MSG is very evident for someone who knows how to cook. Price of A la Carte meals are above the affordable range. This restaurant really needs to level up their game if they don’t want to be out dated. I’m sorry Good Taste, but over 5 times I ate there in a span of nearly a decade... I never liked your foods, if it’s me who’ll treat my friends or family for a delightful meal; I won’t choose Good Taste. Overall experience is below average to average.

DEC 18, 2023 (MONDAY 6:45-7:45 AM) ONE of the worst experience I've exerienced in Good Taste. I am a frequent diner in this restaurant/branch, but that took me to 2nd thoughts of coming back. I ordered just plain good taste rice and tea. D ko na idetail, alam niyo na mga sarili nyo. Person at the counter (unattending) Person near where water pitcher are being placed (rude) - I was just asking for water kasi walang sinerve sa table ko, no need to raise your voice. Person serving (slow) there are definitely just a few people inside. 10 minutes is too long to wait for your spoon & forks etc. If you want to experience better services, go to the OTEK BRANCH near Burnham. Maybe I'll give more thumbs up to the robots rather than the people trying to work for their families.

We ate here by accident. After buying "pasalubongs" in the public market we started walking to look for taxi to get back to the hotel and we saw the sign. We googled it and saw the good ratings and just went in. The prices are really CHEAP compared to the other restaurants in Baguio. The food is typical chinese food but the servings are so big that we had so much leftover. It seems the favorite is the spicy butter chicken, everyone around us was eating it. We just took the rice toppings to be simple but ended up with so much vegetable sidedish that we were full even halfway through the meal. If you are on a budget and don't mind the setting then this is the perfect place to go for a quick meal.

They're located at the heart of Baguio and near the public market. Location is accessible by public transport since it's right across Dangwa Terminal. The place is open 24/7. Food taste is above average considering the price (ranging from P90 to P350) of the dishes. Serving is huge.We ordered crispy pata, buttered chicken, pork asado and fried rice. I would recommend their crispy pata. Their buttered chicken is tasty but a bit wet and soggy due to too much sauce. The pork asado is ok but lacking that sweet scent one would expect from this dish. We also tried their raisin bread (tough) and yema cake (good). The place can be overcrowded during lunch hour. Parking space is limited to 8 vehicles.
