I ordered the Caesar salad (no picture), Marinated Squid, Deep-fried Skewered Pork and Fried Chicken Drumsticks.
Caesar salad was the best salad I've had in the Philippines so far and it also had some sort of bacon or pork belly in it.
Marinated Squid was also good, but it is a salad. So my only critique here would have been to mention on the menu it is a salad. I probably wouldn't have ordered it had I known, since I already had the Caesar salad. The dressing tasted like some sort of maybe red wine vinegar.
Both of those salads were good, it is hard to choose a favorite. The squid is probably less calories though.
Deep-fried Skewered Pork were decent. The sauce they came with was great and probably the main reason I liked them so much.
Fried Chicken Drumsticks were juicy. I felt they could have used more seasoning (maybe a touch of salt first, then more seasoning in the batter). But they were still good.
The service was good and the food came out at a good pace.
Overall enjoyable experience and I'd like to...
Read moreI like this place, the food here is really delicious. Of the minuses for me: first, inconvenient work schedule. if the restaurant didn't close during the day (from 2 to 5), I would come here much more often, almost every day because living around. Second, when I came here to celebrate my birthday, the staff was not friendly. in all other restaurants in my country, if you celebrate your birthday, they congratulate you and they can give you a dessert or some complement from the chef. but there was no festive atmosphere here, the mood was little bit spoiled by this. Food – great, but 3 stars for inconvenient work schedule and...
Read moreThis is now one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the city. While other Japanese restaurants focus on traditional Japanese cuisine, or ramen, or yakiniku, this one focuses on yōshoku or Western-influenced cooking. Their menu includes katsu, doria, curry, pasta, etc. Food is really good and comes in a set, usually with salad and other side dishes. Service is great and the staff are very accommodating. All in all, the vibe reminds me of yōshoku restaurants in Japan. The chef is Japanese and most of the customers are also Japanese, so that speaks a lot about how authentic...
