Expectations vs. reality. Their well known Pochero is not as delicious as what I expected, taste very ordinary. My sister said that it tasted great before but after our experience today it is not the original taste. The beef is not tender. The crab relleno is salty and you can taste the corn starch, not fully cooked. Our biggest disappointment is the very poor service but service charge is included in the bill. The food servers delivered dthe soup without soup bowl, we had to ask several times for the soup bowl. All the tables were not given outright the soup bowls. Another disappointment is we had to ask for service water 4 times with several minutes interval after they served our dessert mais con hielo. Our take out order which was ordered together with the dine in food was served 30 minutes after payment. If you do not ask for O.R. they do not issue O.R. automatically. Conclusion, we will not go back to Marjo's Pochero. Not satisfied with the food and service.

I tried the ham and also the club sandwiches. Both sandwiches had a single slice of thin ham and cheese. The club had a tiny piece of lettuce and a little bit of egg. It was definitely the better of the two. I know this place is more about the other foods and less about sandwiches, but they should still try to improve them since they are on the menu. I think three stars is still generous, especially considering I paid for extra cheese on the ham sandwich and still only received one slice. With how thin the ham was there should probably be at least three slices. I mostly just tasted bread. This was ordered through Food Panda.

This is supposedly one of the best pocheros in Cebu. (By the way, pochero is what Batanguenos would call Bulalo.) I got there an hour before closing and they only pochero and some old Lechon kawali left. The service was horrible. She just literally slept on the next table and there was no one else to attend to us. The pochero was tender yet very salty. I wanted to ask for some hot water to dilute the saltiness but alas, my server was asleep. All in all, I found it to be expensive due to the service and quality of food. Would not come back.
