came for brunch after good reviews overall- mediocre food ordered: chorizo breakfast platter, salmon sandwich, pistachio kunafe toast, ice latte, apple and orange juice, lemonade
the sandwich was decent but note that salmon is a patty. their juice are nice and fresh. coffee was nice too. recommend the drinks
the raved quesadillas were not available so chose the breakfast platter instead. requested for scrambled eggs and the staff came back to the table 3 times to ask about my egg preference and still came out wrong 😂 chorizo was very sweet and fried fish was hard. fried banana had no taste. garlic rice was just rice with sprinkled fried garlic. not value for the $$ for the platter
the toast was very sweet and very big. comes with vanilla icecream but it was served faster than the breakfast platter
their food took very long to serve though we were the only customers who ordered and the other tables were finishing up.
food is overpriced and not up to what others were mentioning about. total bill size was 1480 which...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I really enjoyed our brunch here! We both ordered cappuccinos, and they were lovely. We were also impressed with the rice meals—they were not only delicious but came in generous portions that could easily serve two people. The food was flavorful, the serving time was quick, and the café itself was clean and not crowded. The location is also great, making it a relaxing spot overall. The staff were polite and welcoming, always with a smile, which added to the pleasant experience. If I could suggest a couple of improvements: the music was quite loud for a café setting. A quieter ambiance—or even no music—would make the place feel more peaceful and cozy. Also, the curtains covered the beautiful glass walls, which was a bit of a shame since natural light and an open view really enhance the therapeutic vibe of a café. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d definitely come back—hopefully next time with a bit less music and more...
Read more5 STARS!!! Best breakfast! And the best coffee I have found in Cebu! I visited this cafe about 3 months ago and was immediately blown away. Do you remember your wedding day? Or the day your first child was born? Your breakfast experience at Spence Cafe will be more memorable! Nothing compares! Friendly Warning Should you try the Saigon Egg Coffee, it will steal your heart, your mind, and your soul. The Egg Coffee here is like locating the fountain of youth deep in the Amazon jungle and once it enters the body, immediately feeling the energy Clark Kent feels when transforming into Superman. I have finished my coffee. I now have the energy needed to navigate Cebu traffic, flash my lights at evil villains on the road, and be the super hero this city...
